Question by HereKitty *RIP:
bed bugs, fleas – how to get rid of them? …?

Once, I caught bed bugs (or crabs?) via linen, after I had to crash at my friends’ place one night – she gave me her bed while she slept on the floor. Do you know an easy way to get rid of them?

Also, while I’m at it, i’m itching with bites all over me. I’ve got a cat whose been treated for fleas, but I’ve been buying alot of vintage clothes lately. Is it possible to catch fleas from second-hand clothes?

Thanks.

To get rid of bugs in the bed, check your vacuum attachments for one with a flat head and vacuum them out. Another thing you can do is to get the plastic mattress and pillow covers. Try keeping them on for about a week to suffocate them.
Try dry cleaning all clothes you buy when they’re second-hand. Or you can buy a steam cleaner.
Good luck!

I’d read jfs.ohio.gov/cdc/docs/FactSheets/scabies.pdf
