crystal silica cat litter which is amorphous silica gel when crushed to a fine powder will stick to bedbugs and dehydrate them. You have to crush it to a fine powder yourself. You can also mix it with insecticide for a better effect. I like to use Super Kill ll (Super Kill two) because it contains propoxur which has a residual effect of about one month. The silica gel cat litter dust you make works perfectly well without the insecticide. The silica gel alone can kill a bedbug within a couple of hours in a container. Test it for yourself.
