In French, how do you say: “Don’t let the bed bugs bite”?
Usage: when putting the kids to bed this is a funny saying (that we always hope is never true).

Ne laisse pas les punaises de lit te mordre.
I never heard that, though. I guess we’re more cruel than funny from where I come from, because we scare our children with the “bonhomme sept heures” story to put them to bed.
