I have a rash from bedbugs?

in Bedbug Questions

Question by (Jake):
I have a rash from bedbugs?

im staying in a hotel in italy. i kept waking up with these little red bumps that itched like crazy. within 2 days they were all over my torso and arms! the next night i got up to go to the bathroom. when i turned on the light i was horrified at what i saw. little tiny bugs crawling ALL OVER MY BED. i slept on the floor the rest of the night and promptly asked the reception to change my room. my new room shows no sign of bedbugs. The little red bumps continue to itch! They also seem to be spreading as i am seeing them in areas that i didnt the day before. Is this normal? Are these itchy bumps from the bugs or something different such as an allergic reaction to washing detergent? or something more serious?? please if you have any info help me out. Im in italy for 3 more days and extremely itchy! And i look like a leppar!

use some anti-inflammatory skin cream
It should help reduce redness and maybe itchiness overall

the room u got moved to must have the bed bugs also if u r still getting bites and rashes. u can check the matress by looking for them in the creas of the matresses. u will see their nest, also, it will look like a bunch of dirt wich is actuall their feces. I had them in my house b4 but i got big welps where i got bit, the rash is probably where u r diggin urself to death. they r very hard to get rid of, make sure u do something with all ur clothes when u get home so u dont carry the into ur house.good luck. sleep tight dont let the bed bugs bite!! lol

Are you sure your weren’t also in a very wooded area? It sounds more to me like you may have a severe case of poison ivy or oak. Get Calamine lotion and apply and also take a Benadryl for the itching. And, if that doesn’t give you any relief, or if you start to feel as though you’re having a problem breathing, get to an ER, asap.
