Do these hotels have bed bugs?
My family and I are going to a trip to Raleigh, North Carolina, and we would like to know if the two hotels we are considering have bed bugs.

You should go to tripadvisor.com and look up these hotels. I love that site for reviews of hotels and other travel stuff, because it has real reviews from real people.
P.S. Even if somehow a hotel could be guaranteed to be free of bedbugs today, it could have them tomorrow – all it takes is one guest bringing them from home accidentally in their clothes or luggage.

Most of the problems are most serious around airports that handle a lot of international travelers.
You might want to check with the Hotel to see who provides their pest control services. Then check on the reputation of THAT company. Aside from that, if your inclined to do so, check the bed when you arrive. Look for live bed bug activity under the mattress boxsprings bedframe and headboard. Things to look for are live bed bugs, bed bug droppings (brown to black spots), bed bug cast skins, bed bug eggs. Blood stains from previous guests.
