Yes… long enough to transport to a different place entirely… city.

Yes they can. They travel with you on your clothing to another destination then fall off and creep around without you knowing. Bed Bugs are attracted to the CO2 we breath out and our body heat. In the absense of a convenient person to feed on bed bugs can stay dormant for periods up to 18 months! Now, here is a creepy thought – when you’re in a department store and you find a blouse you just have to have, and you buy it and take it home – it could be carrying a load of bedbugs and you really wouldn’t know it! EEwww! LOL!
(Ok, so that may not really happen!)
