Get the sprays for killing bugs from walmart, the ones that you open and leave the room for a few hours, do it regularly and it worked for me

Well, do you have bed bugs right now? If not, then you most likely will not get them. Do not use anyone elses vacuum cleaner, as they can get into those and transfered to your house. You can order powders online to sprinkle around the foot of your bed. These powders kill bed bugs but are supposedly harmless to people (not FDA approved though) And there are some sprays that claim to help. Once you get them, it is a PAIN to get rid of them so just take precautions if you are worried.

its true. i have been bitten by them before. well if you put a radio by your bed and let it play quietly it keeps them away.

when i found out that the 200+ bug bites all over me were from bed bugs, i totally freaked out.

and then i learned everything i needed to know about them from wikipedia. it grossed me out, but it helped to know. knowledge is power!

then i called a local exterminator to find out the process of getting rid of them. he was very sympathetic and informative, but i couldn’t afford to hire him. (i wouldn’t have anyway, as i try to do things myself first)

so here’s what we did:
vacuumed the room several times, emptying the vacuum canister right away between each session.
we used a bug bomb (like the other girl said; the kind you leave for a day or two with the door closed)

our case was not extreme. they came into the house when a friend dropped off some used mattresses. our first reaction was, “eww,” but we needed beds, so what the heck. we should have heeded our first reaction! but anyway…. just be careful what you bring in off the curb. learn about the signs of bedbugs (one is their black fecal matter speckling the corners of furniture).

read wiki now before you worry too much.
