will bombing my house for bed bugs help?

I think that is what it could be. I’m not sure. Happens while we are in bed at night. I thought bed bugs were from dirty people. My husband is a paramedic that goes into alot of peoples house that are not so clean. Could he have brought them home?

That will tell you everything including how to get rid of them as it isn’t an easy project. Also, chances are you just had them, they were there when you moved in, when you bought a new piece of furniture they came along, etc. They are everywhere, in clean and in dirty homes. We are very careful to disinfect anything that comes into our home, new or antique in order to prevent these little buggers and everything is carefully cared for in our home. We do that for our children. Anywho, take those steps and those that you read on the link to figure it out.

Sanitize the affected areas. Vacuuming the mattress and applying a sealable cover should be sufficient. All clothes, linens, and bedding should be washed in hot water, and the immediate area vacuumed thoroughly.
INSECTICIDES are not an option to get rid of bed bugs, because insecticides should never be applied to an area where you sleep. Sticky traps, like those used for mice, are a good way to capture rogue bed bugs that have managed to escape your domestic exorcism. Some insecticides like Boric Acid might be used in areas around the bed, but never on the mattress itself.
Bed Bug Treatment: Insecticides and Sprays
There are, apparently bed bug treatment and sprays available, but if you have an infestation that you think you cannot handle on your own, it’s recommended to contacting a professional extermination service that can specifically address the issue of bed bugs. The sprays available online may or may not be able to be used on mattresses. It should be noted that any spray you use on a mattress should be explicitly noted in the directions on the bottle. If there is no guarantee from the manufacturer that you are not putting yourself in danger by applying their bed bug control agent on your mattress, it’s best not to use it.

You should try Harris Bed Bug Killer–non staining and when it drys it is safe to sleep on. It is available at http://www.acmelumber.com/store/ — scroll down the page to the listing on the left. It is cheap too. Good luck!
