Has anyone gotten bed bugs from a rental car?
We are going out of town in two weeks and chose to rent a car instead of put the miles on our old chevy, we had gotten bed bugs from a apartment complex who had many problems with them before but “forgot” to inform us, so I am slightly paranoid about the little bugs now. Has anyone ever gotten then or know anyone who has gotten them from a rental car?

I’m sure it’s possible, but the odds are more likely you’d pick them up in a motel room or other accommodations. Who knows just where exactly any given infestation “came” from, wherever people go their pests can travel with them, at least sometimes. Insects are pretty adaptable, and it only takes one pregnant one to start a new infestation. Bedbugs inhabit furniture as well as beds and bedding, too – basically anyplace humans (and probably other creatures as well) shed skin.
