I have been getting crazy amount of bites on my arms and legs. My apartment management company sent exterminator to spray the apartment and will be coming again this weekend, but what if the situation doesn’t improve?? Is there any way I can break the lease?

Yes you can say that your health is being endangered. Get a dr’s statement and send it to your property mgmt company and keep a copy for yourself in case they try to take you to court . Also definately see a dr could be alot of things going on ,on your skin that you dont know about. Please get medical attention soon and get out of there . Good luck and god bless you.

A chronic infestation may be considered “constructive eviction” and grounds for breaking your lease. Make sure you document your requests for repair and seek the advice of a local Landlord-Tenant attorney. There may be local requirements regarding the number of requests, etc.

Also, if it is determined that you were at fault for the infestation, you may be responsible for the clean-up.

Only if you can prove that the infestation is the fault of your landlord.

Darling get a lawyer, those bug can be a hazard to your health and over it the pesticide used to spray the apartment, are hazardous to you and your pets or family. Get out of there and look for another place. Nobody is suppose to play with your wellbeing and health. Otherwise consult with a lawyer, the rights to sanitize the apartment with UV light which itis not toxic to you, get new mattresses at your own expense and make sure with the lawyer that you are suppose to be reimburse for that if you keep all the receipts. Good luck to you and take care of this as soon as possible, it is your health we are talking about darling.
