How can i get an estimate of personal property that was infested by bed bugs to get replacement of it?
are there appraisers that do this or what should I do. it was stuff like mattress beds frames couches chairs toys electronics speakers please advise. bed bugs have ruined my life Thanks

Your insurance company should have this information.
You won’t get your landlord to pay it…that is why there is renter’s insurance.

I feel your pain. Toxic mold ruined mine. We had to gather up all our receipts or estimate, then deduct or depreciate the value the same way they do with taxes. It adds up to about a third of what you actually paid. A used mattress isn’t as valuable as a new one (even tho you have to pay for a new one which sucks) the same way an auto loses significant value the moment you drive it off the lot.
I’m really sorry you have to go through this. We couldn’t keep anything but the clothes on our backs because of mold spores. Bedbug eggs are invasive as well. Good luck with everything. You will come out of this stronger and better, regardless of where you are now. Stay strong 🙂
Do you have insurance? Ask them.
Unfortunately your landlord isn’t liable unless you can prove negligence on his part, and even that’s tricky. They could have came from a neighboring unit, or from a visiting friend or family member. Good luck though!
