How to get rid of bedbugs in your clothes?

My husband and I went on a vacation and slept over at one of his relatives’ house. During my stay, I had lots of bedbug bites all over my body and I think we might have brought some of them home through our clothes. Can soaking our clothes in laundry detergent overnight kill them? I heard it’s very hard to get rid of them, especially their eggs. 🙁 I’m frustrated because I’m itching all over from their bites.

bleach the whites and just wash the clothes and then check them
but you should clean everything in your house for real like the sheets the beds check under and between the beds because they spread fast

Heat kills bedbugs and also their eggs. So you can clean clothes by throwing them in the dryer. Unfortunately if you brought them to your home they are probably multiplying as we speak and you might need professional help from people like terminix.com or orkin.com
Next time you travel use can use neem repellents patches from bedbugrelief.com or simple neem sprays to keep bugs away from your stuff and clothes
