in Bedbug Questions

Question by secret;;:
How do I get rid of bedbugs that have gone beyond the bed?

I was given a matress that was infected with bed bugs, we sprayed the matress and continued to get bitten. we eventually threw out the matress and burned it. Now we have a new matress and have seen more bedbugs, one on the box spring of the mattress(which is also new) and one on the bedroom chair.

I googled and there are lots of sites to help you with this.

eg. http://www.memory-foam-buyers-guide.org/bed-bugs.html

I don’t think we have these in Ireland anymore, least I hope not.
I have never seen them.
I would move and take nothing with me.

Bed bugs travel from home to home in used furniture and bedding. It takes a pro to eliminate them. Look them up on a web site for more information. They do not wander to far from the victims they are continually attempting to suck dry. Also, they may be hiding behind a picture, as well as other objects, waiting for the victim’s bed time.

Don’t mess around with this problem.

Call around and find the best exterminator in your area that has expertise with bed bugs.

Do so quickly. It’ll be a lot cheaper in the long run than having to replace all your stuff.
