the professional exterminators tend to be the best solution as far as getting rid of the bugs themselves. However, some of the DIY solutions work too. Bed bugs live in mattresses, carpet, and sometimes even inside walls. Bed bugs cannot live at a temperature over 90 degrees Fahrenheit, so that may also be an escape plan.

If you do in fact have bed bugs, you will probably need to talk to a pest control professional as another person already said. They will come and inspect your home to look for bed bugs. If you want you can also inspect. Pull off your bedding and look for signs of bed bugs on your mattress, box spring and bed frame. They are very small (adults are 1/4 of an inch) so they can be hard to detect. They like to hide in the seams of the mattress and under box springs. Also check your bed frame where the different parts fit together. Look thoroughly in any cracks, seams or holes. You may also see brown marks on your mattress and box spring. These are bed bug feces. You can find pictures of infestations here: http://www.bedbuginfo.com/pictures-of-bed-bug-infestations.php .

If you do find out you have bed bugs, don’t start sleeping in another room. You could just spread the infestation. Talk to a professional who can guide you through the problem.

This is common If you had a pet and got rid of it. The fleas no longer can use the pet for their source of blood so they use you. A heavy flea infestation can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to get rid of. Vacuum your floors and furniture every day and use a spray that contains an IGR (insect growth regulator). Anything else is a waste of money.
