I am doing a lot of traveling next month. Bedbugs?!! Yucck?
Why am I so freaked out about the bedbugs thing? I had already been thinking about it, then I see the Y! story on them and I’m so nervous. Am I overreacting?
It’s bad enough that my usual travel M.O. is to beeline to a drug store and buy Clorox wipes and Lysol for the room I’m staying in, then I wipe everything down because I don’t trust the housekeeping staff. How can I protect myself from these critters?! (Aside from traveling with a super huge bag to cover the mattress in?) Thanks.

You can buy a nice silk sleeping bag to use in your bed (try amazon) as well as a tv remote cover (but you could also use a large ziploc bag. Even with a silk sleeping bag, be sure you pull back all the covers on your bed before sleeping in there.
