Bed bugs are really bad here in Michigan, and I got caught with them (ick).

So I did a ton of research. There really is no way to stop them with a natural method that’s been proven. Some people swear by Diatomaceous Earth, but pesticide or thermal heat are the two proven methods.

If you don’t want pesticides, you can call pest control company that uses thermal heat, basically they heat up your place to a cozy 130 degree and cook the bed bugs. It sadly didn’t work for me, which is why they had to use pesticide, and that worked like a charm.
