i later learnt that was infested with bed bugs. i rubbed my shorts at the back to shed away in case any eggs or bugs have stuck to it.. but i am scared as of now there are no bugs in my house .

probably not but there is always a chance. I just got rid of a infestation of bed bugs, and there are somethings you learn, they mostly do not travel by people, but can. Also bed bugs only come out between 3-5 am, because they hate the light and this is usually when we are in our deepest sleep. I would take precaution keep aware of your body for any bites. You might be waking up during the middle of the night from paranoia but still be aware. Take off the clothes as soon as you walk into your home, including shoes, everything! immediately toss these items into the washer on hot, and put them in the dryer on hot. Hop into the shower and make sure its hot, but don’t give yourself 3rd degree burns. If you did bring bugs into your home email me and I will send you what I had to do to get rid of them, I had them pretty bad and the exterminator wanted 1700 and I have a 1 bedroom apartment, so I had to do it myself and I got rid of them. I would suggest washing your sheets in Hot water with either plan bleach for white sheets or color safe bleach. This will help to kill any possible larvae or eggs in your sheets, just in case.
