“Don’t let the Bedbugs bite”?

When i was a young boy my Mom would tuck me into bed at night.

She would whisper “Good night HASSAN, don’t let the BEDBUGS bite…”

I don’t know what are Bedbugs are.. I pictured them as Fat red bugs with big eyes and spidery legs crawling under the sheet,,,

What are BEdBUgs are??

Bedbugs are small, brown, wingless parasites that feed off blood. Even though they cannot fly, they are not easily seen, as they are less than a quarter-of-an-inch (half a centimeter) long and often hide during the day they come out at night and bite you
