The best thing to do is to get a new mattress. This will get rid of the prob immediately.

Bedbugs have once again become a common problem in modern homes. I’m afraid you really need to have an exterminator inspect your bedding and identify the offending insect. Bedbugs are very hardy, and your house will have to be tented and fumigated. They usually use a very toxic gas called sulfuryl fluoride, and you can’t go back in for 48 hours. Of course, if you rent, the landlord will have to deal with all this or give you another apartment (good luck with that).
