How much does it cost to get rid of bed bugs?
My friend got bedbugs on a used sofa he bought. I’m going to be helping him get rid of them, but I am curious as to cost for an exterminator. If anyone out there has had this unfortunate experience and has some advice, it would be most appreciated.

Vacuum, walls floors baseboards sofa’s and mattresses, and wash and dry all laundry and bedding. Murphy’s Oil Soap works well as a contact killer. Make a spray solution by mixing it with water and spray floors, baseboards, window sills and anywhere there are cracks with the soap solution and wipe it down. Use cotton balls saturated with tea tree oil in drawers where clothing is stored. Wipe all floors and surfaces, especially those with cracks. Wrap double sided tape around the edge of the mattress so that any who try to climb up during the night will be caught.
When you’re done helping your friend, check your clothes, especially cuffs and seams to make sure none of them hitch a ride back to your place.
Bed bugs are a huge issue.
I’d suggest getting rid of the couch.An exterminator cost around $ 400 per room in my area.
As previously stated, wash everything around the couch.Check your clothes, as they often like to tag along.Vacuum.Everywhere, no matter how minuscule the area may seem.Bed bugs are a difficult to get rid of and require patience and persistence.
