I may have went to extremes when we had them. I threw out all of out furniture including our bed. I moved to a different apartment and made sure to spray all of my wooden furniture with a bug spray that killed them and their eggs. I washed all of my clothing with bleach to kill any that were on our clothes. I hope that you do not have to go through all of this because it is pretty expensive.
I would call an exterminator. Do not set off a bug bomb, it will not help, it will not effectively kill the bugs it will only scatter them. Just get an exterminator!!!
They are most likely in your furniture also.
Spray the bed with a eucalyptus spray also iron the bed with a hot steam iron, this will also kill the bed bugs. I had this problem and this worked. You will need to wash the linen, doona and pillows with eucalyptus as well. Buy a mattress protector this will help. Also any sheets that are over a 300 thread count bed bugs cannot get through.
