Best bet is to get an exterminator in as they hide in all of the tiny nooks and crannies throughout the room. They are very flat insects so can get into tiny spots.

Another way to deal with them is basically to take away as much clutter as possible and vacuum absolutely everything. Under the edge of carpets, behind picture frames, in cracks, the entire mattress and bedframe etc. Possibly use a steam cleaner on the mattress or carpet.

They come out at night and they bite you. The black spots are basically them pooping out your blood. I would suggest getting an exterminator very quickly. I am pretty sure they don’t spread disease, except maybe skin infections from scratching bites, but they will cause you to be very irritable from getting very little sleep because of anxiety.

Another thing to note is that if you are attempting to control them by the vacuum method then they take about 5 weeks to mature. That means that if you sucked up the adults and they had already laid eggs (as they often do) then in about 5 weeks you will have another batch.

Also…it is good to note that bedbugs are not like cockroaches. Just because they are there, it does not mean that your place is really dirty. They feed on people, not dirt.

Good luck

I hate to say this but its time to over haul the bedroom.Wash and dry everything you can at hottest setting.Wash down floors and walls with good cleaner lysol would do the trick. The mattress should go outside where they can air out real good this should kill the cycle.Call exterminator explain and ask if they guarantee their service and will come back at no charge to respray–it might cost a bit of money but to get the upper hand you need too best of luck

You can throw the mattresses out and buy a new set. you don’t have to get rid of the frame .if they are as bas as you say then get a new set of mattesses. this should resolve the problem.
