Question by A:
Does sleeping on the floor any use if you have bed bugs?

Okay, I don’t have bedbugs, but I’m worried that I’ll get them. If I get them, before calling the exterminators over should I sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag or does it not matter? I don’t want those creepy bugs getting anywhere near me.

I’m sure they can walk over to their meal lying on the floor. I had bed bugs and solved the problem quickly by killing them and then wrapping both mattress and box-spring in plastic and sealing them with wide transparent tape. (Works for me.)

The reason I don’t mind sleeping on plastic is because the alternative is quite unpleasant. One night I woke up because I thought a big wild animal was biting my hand. (It was just one little bug.)

Sleeping on the floor will not help..
Fumigate the floor and sleep on the bed. They have to cross the floor to get to the bed unless you bring them in on your clothes..
