How can you get rid of bed bugs without an exterminator?

in Bedbug Questions

Question by Eastwick Granny:
How can you get rid of bed bugs without an exterminator?

With a large 2 family house and many things like books, clothes, wall hangings and rugs, what the exterminator wants would be like moving. Is there a way, natural or with pesticides to do it yourself without the hassle? The infestation, after close scrutiny seems to be confined to one bedroom on the first floor and one on the second. Mattresses are being replaced, clothes washed, things placed in the sun, alcohol sprayed where needed. Help, anyone!

Pesticides wont work, take the advice of the exterminator.

I don’t know. But I’ve heard that some exterminators actually put the whole house in a big plastic bag …and exterminate.

I should think ‘that’ would be a really sure fire way! – And you wouldn’t even have to move furniture or anything out!

Hope I was help. 🙂
