No – bed bugs live in the mattress and box spring. You should be all set!

unless the frame is made of wood, then no, the bugs can’t be transferred, but you have to clean it through washing with detergent and water, buy a new mattress for good measure…if it’s made of wood and still looks sturdy enough to hold at least three (3) people then have it scrubbed with sand paper and repaint it…better yet, buy a new bed,so you wont be thinkin of bed bugs for a while..goodluck

If it is just the frame then you have nothing to worry about. It just needs to be wiped down and sanitized. Get a lysol santizer spray, or somthing equivalent. If it comes with a padded head board then i would steam clean it. Hope this answers your question. Good luck!

Yeah they can, as far as i know. Coz i remember once i called a carpenter to fix the wooden frame of my bed, so he bought another one. Next thing i know is that i see bed bugs and it took a while to kill all of them coz they had time 2 spread. Just be careful buddy.
