you need to hire an exterminator to come out because they are not just on your bed they will be in any crack they can hide in . call an exterminator fast
You can’t. Once you have them you have them for life. Bed bugs are usually a good indication that you need a new mattress. You don’t have to get rid of all your bedding because just washing them with detergent will kill the bugs, but there is no way to wash a mattress. You’ll need to get new pillows as well. Get new pillows every year and a new mattress every 10.
If it helps, bed bugs are a necessary evil in that they eat our dead skin. Imagine how much dead skin would be in our beds or floating in the air without them.
