A flat i rent out has bedbugs. Is this the landlords responsibility to sort out in the UK?
The person who rented out the flat before did not complain about any bed bugs. I have agreed to pay the fumigation costs but my tennants want compensation for ’emotional trauma’. What is my legal position?? HELP PLEASE!!

if you own the bed then it is down to you but as for the compensation just ignor it they are just trying to get money out of you .if they insist then just say take me to court then .it would cost a lot to do that so i think they would just drop it when they know you are not going to give in good luck
