Question by willnyu1982:
How do I know if I have bed bugs?
I feel like every few months or so I get a bug bite. It’ll be itchy for a minute then go away. Its usually one or two. I haven’t noticed anything in, on or near my mattress that would suspect bed bugs, but I’m curious.

Bed bugs leave their skin in the area that they are living. The don’t just live in beds. They can go into your headboards, nightstands, picture frames, box springs. They can live for several months with out eating, then re-appear. They leave whitish colored droppings.

Not quite sure but I think that if you have Bed Bugs you would have many little bits all over and some sign that they were there…but every couple months with one to two bites just sounds like a spider bite or some other creepy crawly bit you while you were sleeping. Just clean out the underside of your bed and the corners of your room at least every two weeks and wash your sheets regularly and that may prevent the pesky bug bites.
It may also be masquito bites….find a repelant in that case
be sure to vaccuum your mattress at least once a month to prevent this problem.

Well, I’m not sure that you have bed bugs.. but you should notice two things: little bites and, you may see the bed bugs themselves. They’re small but noticeable. check out the site. it has a picture of the bed bugs.
