Question by Maru:
Does Windex kill bed bugs? and should I use oil to fill the crevices?

I finished vacuuming my whole bed frame, including the screws, holes and crevices. Now I want to reassemble my bed, but I want to put something in the crevices to both kill any bugs that I may have missed and to prevent any from getting in there again.

Can I use Windex to kill bed bugs?
And should I put cooking oil or Vaseline in the crevices to make the surface unaccessible to them?

………ew…..um…..if you have bedbugs, you’ll hardly find them living in the bed frame.. More than likely, they’re in the mattress itself, burrowing in the cover and ticking until a warm body comes along and heats up the bed, then they come out to eat.

i’m guessing you vacuumed your mattress too! i read somewhere that windex doesn’t kill them.. maybe something like raid would!! i would smear some vaseline in the holes though… so the little suckers can’t hide anywhere. also, put little cups or some container under each leg of your bed and smear some more vaseline in there… isolate your bed cuz they don’t fly or jump!!
