Question by moonguardianluna: What is a natural way to remove and deter bedbugs from your home?
I have recently learned that my new apartment is infested with bedbugs. I do not wish to have my apartment treated with harmful chemical pesticides that I could accidentally ingest or inhale from furniture fabrics. I am looking for a more natural remedy, if anyone should know of one.

Uh short of getting rid of all your belonging there’s not a whole lot you can do without pesticides.. The only thing I’ve heard is to use EXTREME HEAT.. If they are in your mattress and box spring you can wrap them in heavy duty plastic and leave them in the sun.. For the rest of your apt. you can rent big heaters and dehumidifers to heat up your apt. and eventually kill the little buggers but, that seems an awful lot of work and expense..

good luck

I work at a hotel and these critters are really hard to get rid of. Sorry but a spray is the best way to go. You really have to be diligent and get down into the cracks and crevises of the mattress and or furniture. It may very well take more than one treatment. Believe me you will know when done if you didn’t get them all when they start biting again. Then give it another treatment. May be easiest to replace the mattress.
