Question by Myalin’s Mommy:
serious questions about bedbugs!!!?

i had been wondering why i was waking up with little bites all over me. they didnt look like normal bites or like flea bites (like everyone insisted).then i noticed the were on my infant daughter too, and they didnt get there until she slept with me in my bed the last few nights. well, i tried to tell my husband that i think we have bedbugs and he told me i was just being paranoid. i told him, well, he works nights so OF COURSE he doesnt have any bites on him since the come out at NIGHT. stubborn, and true to his nature, he still would take me seriously. weird thing is right before i fell asleep, a show on animal planet came on called “INFESTED!” and i saw the bit about bedbugs. the bites looked the same and everything! determined, i tried to sleep as light as i could, and what happened? i found one of the little b*st*rds crawling on my effing hand! OMG! im soooo freaked out right now! they’ve been eating me for dinner and my daughter as a snack!

now my question is, if we show the landlord, is he obligated to call an exterminator? we had never had bedbugs before we moved into this place and we’ve only been here 2 1/2 weeks. what do i do? im too afraid to go back to sleep right now! 🙁

Buy a new mattress immediately and change your sheets, quilt covers pillow cases every week.
Air the new mattress at least 3 times a year. Air your bedroom every morning, air the bed linen too.

all you can do is to ask him, but he may of not known they were there and no real way to prove that you didn’t bring them in unless you can find evidence that he was aware of them before.
