bedbugs California law- tenant rights!!!?
I moved in the apartment, I bought all new furniture for my new apartment, and than after 2 nights I found out that apartment has bed bugs. I showed to him and he act like he doesn’t know what kind of bugs are they. He called exterminators right away and they came and spayed everything. When i asked him did they treated my apartment he confirmed saying that apartment was already treated several times.
He would’ve tell me about bedbugs… I would never rent that apartment. Does anyone know anything about Californian law and tenant rights in this kind of situations.

The state must have agencies that oversee rental housing.
I think the health department would be interested or could
tell you who to contact. Give them a call first.
