It’s one of those things like the “thorns and thistles of the field” that humankind must put up with for the original sin of Adam and Eve. According to the natural evidence, they evolved all right. I don’t see a conflict between evolution and scripture; The order of appearance of sea then land, plants then animals, life in the oceans before land is miraculously consistent with science for something written that long ago.
I heard that freezing bedbugs works. You can put bedding in a big freezer or put it outside in winter. I’ll bet sleeves of carpet tape wrapped around legs of a bed, sticky side out, will stop them.
