how do I know I still have bed bugs?

The tenants have moved more than one month ago, I have treat the apartment again and again, there is no one live here now, how do I know I still have bed bugs?

get rid of furniture with holes in it.
spray bed bug spray in the corners of the room.
patch any holes.

Bedbugs are nocturnal. Unfortunately, you really won’t know if the bugs are gone until someone sleeps in the apartment. If they wake up with bites, the bugs are still there.

Why don’t you move into the apartment for a few weeks? If you don’t get any bites, it’s 90% certain the bedbugs are gone and you can re-rent the apartment.
