Don’t know — but in this case the word is liable. That means to hold responsible. Libel is to defame someone by saying something untrue about them.

Hard to say without knowing where you lived, how you traveled – did you stay at multiple places over your vacation,

There is a BIG increase in bedbugs in hotels and colleges. No one really knows why. I’d say your chances of any significant money from it are low. A free night or two stay at another property in the same chain – maybe so.

It is going to be very hard to prove to the court that it came from that specific place. Send a Health Dept inspector there.

Whoever said nobody really knows where the infestation came from. . .really. It was brought in by illegal immigrants from the third world Central America. It spread through the USA and it can now be found even in good hotels. Next time you see those urine stained mattresses lying on the street after being dumped, some scavenger will pick it up and recover the linings and sell it back to poor people at a bargain price. Yes there it is and don’t argue with me. it is such a crime to litter like that, however, political correctness prevents us from addressing it. Let’s face it they have turned the USA into a 3rd World country.
Oh BTW next time you see our mayor ‘Scarr Face’ tell him I said so.
