Question by CS:
I have small bugs in my bed…and need to know what they are.?

They are NOT bed bugs or fleas (I know what those look like). These bugs are about the size of or slightly smaller than the printed letter…i They can jump and apparently do not bite as I have no bites. I have washed everything in hot water and vacuumed everything thoroughly. At any given time, I can find 3-5 crawling around on the sheets. Any ideas???
they are not lice or crabs…wrong shape

I’m not sure what they are…but maybe you should consider getting rid of the mattress…if you have overhauled and washed the sheets a million times, they must be coming from the mattress.

Not lice either? I would say time to get a new bed. I would go to the hardware store and buy some Ortho Home Defense. Its a spray you can use to see if that works. Use it all over the house. If you have pets…get them out as you do it. You could also bug bomb the place. I would get rid of the mattress…put it somewhere for a few hours and see if you see those bugs in your house once you spray. Put a small bowl of soapy water in the middle of the room and shine a light over the bowl…if bugs jump in the water…you have a problem.

When I was on active duty, those critters were referred to as crabs, motorized dandruff, trouser bugs, and a variety of other cute names. Who ya been sleeping with lately?

They’re called crabs. Shave your pubes and change your sheets.
