A basic flea powder will help, but best to boil wash all the bed linen and allow light to the matress, they don’t like light at all so strip the bed and prop up matress, hoover after flea powder has been on for about 2 hours.

Hon, from what I’ve heard about them…if it’s a bad infestation, you’ll have to get a new mattress, period. People have called in a professional pest company and had no luck. There are products out there. Type in bed bugs in your search engine, but, most products are about $ 25, and if it doesn’t work, you could have put that towards a NEW mattress. Good luck!
