you could try using the vaccume attachment to vacume your bed. my science teacher use to say you should do that every couple of months.
Steam should work, do you have a steam floor mop like a Haan? Or can you borrow one from somebody? Do you have a hand-held clothes steamer? It should be done regularly. Another thing you can do but it takes money is to buy one of those hypoallergenic mattress covers that you only have to wash once or twice a year. You still have to wash your bedsheets but it helps eliminate the problem. Just google hypoallergenic mattress covers and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Other than those two things, other ways you can prevent the problem is vacuuming your mattresses with a Hepa filtered vacuum cleaner, get rid of rugs, carpet and drapes, as they like to hid in fabric, keep the room clean and free of dust, and possibly searching for a spray that is sold online for bedbugs, that’s probably your cheapest bet. Also scrub real good with a washcloth when you take a shower to help remove dead skin cells and wash with a real soap, like Ivory, that might help keep them off you. Good luck.
