I think bed bugs stay in the mattress………….call an exterminator

Trust me, bed bugs are small, very small, certainly not the size you describe. If you have a pet, it could be fleas, they are black and also small. What you have on your window is not your problem. Bedbugs are noctournal and hard to find except at night. Fleas are a problem day and night. Both bugs hide in carpeting, bedclothes, furniture and wait for a warm body.
no not bed bugs that appears to be a box elder bug. your average bed bug prefers dark places behind head boards under mattress or box springs and they are more translucent in color.
those arent bed bugs. this is a family of stink bugs. there are many kinds of stink bugs (green stink bugs, black stink bugs. asian stink bugs etc.) so you might want to google stink bugs and see the immages and click on the one that looks closest to the ones you have seen. hope that helps. since the picture is too dark to tell, so instead of alarming you , you should do some reaserch on stink bugs.
