I know someone who has a bed bug problem at home. Should I be nervous about inviting this person to a party or social gathering?

Yes bed bugs can jump from person to person. DO not invite them to your house. they can swarm your house and will cost alot to exterminate them. do not allow the person access into your house.

Yes, people visiting from a source of infestation can transfer bed bugs from their clothing, luggage, or there may be one (or more) on their person. They seek out warm places and can live for a very long time without feeding. They can also latch onto pets and cause issues similar to fleas.
