Its so hard, the federal gov in the US is looking into this, the only proven poison was out lawed years ago,too toxic.
Look for signs in creases in mattresses, vacuum up, vacuum along walls, tape shut unused elect outlets, they crawl in them to live come out to eat. Move furniture around would be a suggetion.
Id vacuum everything I could, tape up any crack anywhere, paint cracks if you dont want to tape them. Check luggage from vacations, shoes, signs are the same as fleas, they leave dried blood spots like flees do pretty much. Read online as much as you can. Pest control people, do not at this time really ahve a good poison from them. You can call and discuss what they are using, but let htem know you know the DDT that use to do the trick is not an option, the feds are having scientists look into a new poison, and at this time, what are they doing to treat, what is the kill percentage and thier warranty.
I saw them in fabric creases they showed on tv, they showed in the corners when they wiped with a rag, not the bugs mind you, the excrement. Good luck on that.
They say to travel these days, to put luggage in giant bags that are sealed up, in rental cars, planes, and hotel rooms, to not just have luggage and clothes out in the open, and, that is what my family has been doing now for a year since they showed it on tv.
