If I rent a furnished apartment, how worried should I be about bedbugs or a dirty mattress?

I would be worried. I would look at the mattress BEFORE I rented. Even if it is clean, I would still go to the store and buy some RAID and spray the mattress thoroughly, then purchase a plastic mattress cover and put that on the mattress. You should also worry about carpeting AND the furniture. The sofa if it is covered in cloth material, spray it also. SPRAY, SPRAY SPRAY. Then go buy some Lysol which kills 99% of bacteria and SPRAY, SPRAY SPRAY EVERYTHING. I DON’T CARE IF THE LANDLORD SAYS THEY HAVE CLEANED EVERYTHING – YOU DON’T KNOW HOW WELL THE CLEANING PERSON DID THE JOB. YOU DO NOT WANT THE PREVIOUS TENANTS GERMS!!!!!!!!
If it suits you, then be happy. I pay little attention to a person’s word. Their definition of something could be fine or incredible. What you do for yourself is the important key here. Don’t worry. If you are determined to get a furnished place, just do what you have always done in that regard. I want for you to be happy. Your castle must make you comfortable and at peace. Remember this, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8:31. This provides all of us for a good basis to begin and end our day. If you have any other concerns, then read Psalm 35 to (Plead My Cause). God already knows what you need, but he expects you and me to respect Him and ask for whatever we want. BE WORRIED. THESE DAYS YOU DON’T KNOW. SIMPLY GET SOME PLATIC OR SHOWER CURTAIN AND TAPE AROUND YOUR MATTRESS, THEN PURCHASE A MATTRESS PAD.
Mattresses aren’t that much. I would just just get rid of the old one and buy a new one.
about as worried as you’d be by sleeping in a hotel bed. scary, isnt it? think of all the disgusting things that might live in there… lice, someone’s dead skin cells, dirt, dust, other questionable substances. you dont know what someone else did on that bed, do you really feel safe sleeping on it night after night?
alot think of all the people that layed in it before you ewe by a new mattress and a toilet set
