Any place with upholstered furniture and people. If they are predominant in one area or another, it is because the residents there are not rich enough to hire exterminators.

I heard of a resident of Indian Hill who contacted the fire department because she intended to raise the temperature of her house to 120 degrees to kill the bugs. She needed to make sure that this wouldn’t cause a fire hazard.

Bedbug eggs can be dormant for up to six months. That means that exterminators need to inspect and treat a place every week for at least 26 weeks.

bed bugs are hard to find, but you should look in ratty old motels, good hotels and even nice motels don’t have them. You could also google the subject.
