you’ve got to get zippered covers for your mattress and pillows that way they won’t be able to survive.

Oh you don’t have to do all that, all you had to do was Wash your clothes and sheets in hot or hotttest water they can handle, but sheets must be washed in hot water and you must add to your wash water without detergent one cup for small to medium loads two cups for larger loads put all this through a cycle, there is no need to add fabric softner as vinegar will soften and deodorize everything and clean..
