Anyone had bedbugs and been able to successfully get rid of them?
We went to Mexico for a few months and somehow brought bedbugs back with us. I am absolutely mortified and have no idea how we are going to get rid of them. Everything I’ve read said it is EXTREMELY difficult and that we will need an exterminator. We really can’t afford to pay exterminators and I’m wondering if anyone else has had success getting rid of the nasty little bugs…

Try putting your mattress and bedding (anything else you think they hiding under) out in the sun then spray your room with an insect repellent.. that should get them..

Heat kills bedbugs and also their eggs. So you can start by cleaning your clothes and washable fabrics by throwing them in the dryer. Bedbugs lov fabrics so thats where u will find them. This is ok as long as you dont have a lot of carpet at home. But if you do then its whole different story. Only thing you can do to be 100% sure is get new carpeting or professional help from people like terminix.com or orkin.com.
Next time you travel use neem repellents patches from bedbugrelief.com or simple neem sprays to keep bugs away from your stuff and clothes.
