Would it be alright to visit family if I have recently had bed bugs?

I am planning on traveling to Florida to take my daughters to visit their grandparents, who they haven’t seen in 2 yrs. I have an infestation in my home of bed bugs, that is still and has been treated and is going away. How long should I wait before going to stay with family. I am planning on going for Thanksgiving. If I can’t go, should I tell him why? This is my Husband’s father and wife. They are desperately dying to see the girls. What do I do? Thanks
