Question by LaDy E:
how do you tell the difference between bird mites and bedbugs?

i can’t figure out weather the bugs i found in my house bird mites or bed bugs. they are both mites that feed on human blood, but when i do a search all the information is correct but the pictures don’t exactly match. i don’t want to treat for the wrong thing while the infestation grows. what should i do?

im guessing its bird mites the only way to really tell if there bed bugs is if u go to all the beds in your house and take all the sheets off and look under the mattres if thats where u see a lot of them im guessing there bedbugs ushally bedbugs dont roam around all over the house they ushally stay near your beds

Bed bugs are 2-3mm in size, about the size of an apple seed. Bird mites are much smaller, no bigger than the size of a pinhead.
