Question by bluewoo: what other bugs bite during the night other than bed bugs? and how do i get rid of them?
i have been getting bites every night for about 2 weeks. i don’t think they are from bed bugs because i think i would have seen them by now. i think they might be smaller. i’m looking for a safe alternative to calling in an exterminator.

It could be a lot of different bugs, spiders and such likes fleas. There is not much you can do without killing them unless you want to keep getting bit. You can also go to just about any hardware or walmart or whatever and buy some spray bombs and vacuum often.

Put some pieces of scotch tape in the bed and chances are you will catch those bugs and be able to identify them.
Wash the sheets in very hot water with a little bleach,, you may have something like fleas or depending on the area of your body your being bitten in could be crabs, I know that sounds nasty,, but chit happens!

Perhaps fleas…A flea can live over 200 days without a meal, living in carpet, rugs, sofas, beds, etc. When a meal comes along, they will become active and cause “bites” on pets and humans. Products to control fleas are available at pet centers, home centers, and superstores. Veterinarians and physicians can also give you direction on products to remove fleas. Most products contain chemicals, so proper use is important to insure safety and efficacy.
