If i spray Lysol on my mattress once a week and wash my sheets once a week, will it prevent bed bugs?

Bed bugs are a transmitted thing. They have to be on something or someone to make it to your house and to your bed. So, this may prevent a lot of things but bed bugs, once they have set in, will require more than that to get rid of them. It will keep mites down and make the bed smell and feel good too.

Buy a mattress cover that fits over the whole mattress with (a zipper) Plastic cover

Purchase a can of bug fogger. Close all windows and doors in your bedroom. Place a rolled up towel under the door to allow fogger to stay inside the bedroom. Follow directions on the fogger. You will kill all insects in the bedroom

No, you would have to soak them to death just to even come close. And lysol is probably not good for the fabric. For your sheets and other bedding, you need to wash them in hot water.
