How long do bed bug bites last?

in Bedbug Questions

Question by Moi:
How long do bed bug bites last?

I have had a couple itchy red welts on the inside of my knee for a couple of weeks now, but they go away and come back. They are super itchy, and in a row. They aren’t anywhere else on my body though.

How long will they last? Are they something other than bedbug bites?
I don’t think they are from my bed, because I haven’t gotten anymore. I think I got them from a hotel bed or something.

Oh those are terrible!!!!! I had a whole bed full of bed bugs. Go to the doctor get some hydrocortizone cream or they will give you a sterioid. It gets rid of the rash from the bites. Wash your sheets pillows everything on your bed. Spray your bed down with bug killer! We had them really bad and they bit like crazy and it itched sooo bad!! Take benedryl and go to the doctor for the other things.

Edit- there really are bed bugs. They are actual bugs that live in your mattress, they survive on your sweat and skin that comes off at night. They love moist dark areas. What the guy above me was thinking about were bed mites thats just the skin flakes and stuff that comes off of you at night. Thats what the bed bugs eat.

You know the bed bug bites may be especially itchy and as well unpleasant, but they also can’t induce any kind of significant problems. Even now, nowadays, most people want to know if there are additional complications of bed bug bites which in turn may result in many health problems.
